Vomit the Soul – Apostles of Inexpression

Production on the album is clear and distinct without sounding overproduced. All instruments, including the bass (unlike many other death metal albums), can be heard clearly in the mix. Everything is loud and has a good balance, giving the music clarity where other albums sound muddy and indistinct. Certain elements, such as the sounds of the guitarist sliding up and down the fretboard, were sometimes kept in the final product giving the album a more expressive sound. One other good element about the production is that the bass drum has a deep sound rather than sounding overly triggered. This combined with the audible bass guitar makes the bass sound in the album more natural over other similar bands.
